The Waverly Community Board voted to create a Resource List for local businesses and service providers. Please view the attached description and application if you are interested! We are still interested in additional applications if you have not already filled out the forms. Mail to Jan Kroeger (address on the form). We are in the process of entering data - should be done by mid-January. Thanks all for your responses.
At the August 22 meeting of the WCB, Kiwanis members Jack Gianola, Ray Kepler, and Steve Sarno gave an overview of the progress of forming a Kiwanis chapter in Wellington. Steve is a Waverly resident and can be contacted at 568-7801 for more information. Two interesting subjects at this year's potlucks (March 12 and July 16) were: Local Tree Health (Tree Top Plant Health) and Native Plants for the Waverly Area (Robyn Dolgin). THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER! We served over 100 folks at the Fire Station with a variety of pancakes from blueberry to gluten-free and even veggie pancakes! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR with your friends, family and neighbors! HUGE THANKS to the Fire Station folks who rolled out the trucks, gave demos and had time trials for extra fun!!
