News from Karen Crumbaker: Two classes will be taught by Alison O'Connor, horticulture agent, CSU Extension in Larimer County, and are open to the public. They are focused for the homeowner who has ash trees and would like more information about management options. See attached flyer ("View" tab) for more information. Classes are free but registration is required for the class at Northern Water.
Maddie Gudenkauf is a young adult local author, whose debut novel, "How to Survive a Ghost Story," is a comedic account of a colorful cast of characters, including some eccentric small Kansas town locals that surface in protagonist Lucy Vitalis' investigations with her Dad into the undead and other paranormal events. After many years in the Waverly community, and three years as Chair of the Waverly Community Board, Letitia Betchel announces she and her husband, Ken, will be moving to Severance to be closer to their children. She can't say enough about how hard it is to leave this great community, friends and neighbors. Of special note are: the PANCAKE BREAKFAST Sept. 5th at the Waverly Fire Station, and Annual Meeting Gathering on Nov. 7th, location TBD. WAVERLY Community Conversations with Comm.
