At the January 23, 2013 meeting of the Waverly Advisory Committee, the newly elected committee (elected at the Waverly Community Group annual meeting November 3, 2012) revised its name to the Waverly Community Board. This change reflects its continuing service to the larger Waverly community through the Waverly Community Group which was formed by invitation to all residents of the Waverly area in 2005. The emphasis of the Waverly Community Board (WCB) is to provide for informational and socializing events rather than performing advisory duties. This newly named Board looks forward to continuing to host informational and social events, maintaing the waverlycommunity.org website, and providing a communication network through its email address log.
