On May 7, 2013, the Board of Larimer County Commissioners adopted their updated five-year Vision & Goals for Larimer County. They gathered input on the proposed Vision & Goals from elected officials at Larimer County, Community Leaders, citizens, and employees over a multi-month period. The refreshed Vision & Goals were created with a larger, more external 'Community' focus. The Objectives to come will define what role Larimer County government has in the Vision & Goals. The process, called "Planning for our Future" began in late 2012 and is part of an ongoing three-Phase strategic planning process that refreshes the County's 2004 and 2009 Strategic Planning processes.
