FARM TAX PROGRAM-Feb. 20, 2018

CSU Larimer County Extension will hold a farm tax program, Optimizing Farm Taxes and Your Management Strategies, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the CSU Larimer County Extension office.  How you manage your farm income expenses today will influence the taxes you pay.  Record keeping and expense management can lower your tax bill and reduce your chances of being audited.  If you file a Schedule F “Profit or Loss From Farming” form or plan to in the future, this program will give you tips to manage your tax liability.  Topics include:  farm business expenses, reporting farm income, farm office expenses, farm records, and strategies for managing tax liabilities.
Jeff Tranel, CSU Extension Agricultural & Business Management Economist, will teach the class.  The cost is $15/person or $20/couple.  Registration is required<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
